Azienda Agricola Le Volpi & Monte Fasolo is one of various wineries in the Veneto region still run as family enterprises. Notable for a strong commitment to sustainable growth, the company combines wine production with hospitality and catering services to offer a complete and unique local visitor experience.
One cannot talk about our company in isolation from its setting, the Euganean Hills, an area that features the widest biodiversity in Europe, which in 1989 became the Euganean Hills Regional Park and in 2024 was officially named the Euganean Hills Biosphere Reserve as part of the UNESCO MAB programme. In effect, our history has its origins right here in the rural Veneto region, a land of vines and olive trees, and is driven by the desire to rediscover its historical roots and share its tradition and beauty with others. It is against this background that we ply our trade as producers of Veneto wines, carrying on a deeply rooted local agricultural tradition.
In 2010 the Rossi Luciani family made a move to realize its goals, first acquiring Le Volpi and thereafter Monte Fasolo, two agricultural concerns that had flourished in former times but by then were in a state of neglect. The recovery and renovation project involved the vineyards and olive groves on the one hand, and on the other, the winery and the hospitality and catering facilities. The combination of entrepreneurial intuition and a belief in sustainable agriculture has resulted in an ambitious project aimed at enhancing the entire local area, as well as creating one of the largest estates in the Euganean Hills.
And today, this is a project that continues to be a family-driven venture. Now, it is the new generation taking things forward, with a young and dynamic staff, able to absorb the lessons handed down by an entrepreneurial family and turn them into concrete actions. Actions marked by passion, dedication and a love for wine and the local area, with the aim of sharing their priceless value.

Vineyards, olive groves, woodland and nature trails
Located in the heart of the Euganean Hills Regional Park, the Le Volpi & Monte Fasolo estates comprise 250 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woodland. The wooded areas are carefully managed and maintained to preserve the biodiversity of the area. Various sections of Euganean Hills nature trails n° 1, n° 3 and n° 12 also run through the estates. 12.

Veneto wine producers
Vineyards and grapes
Cultivated with every care for the environment, our vines yield 10 selected varieties of organic grapes and are dedicated entirely to the production of organic and vegan wines. The varieties we grow are Cabernet, Sauvignon, Merlot, Carménère, Pinot Noir, Manzoni Bianco, Moscato Giallo, Chardonnay, Glera and Garganega. Care is taken at every stage to ensure that wines will be genuine and sustainable, with a rich territorial identity.
Monte Gemola
Volcanic trachyte is the rock beneath our purest Merlot: every sip elegant, strong and distinctive.
Monte Rusta
The cooler slopes of the estate. Vines here are suited to the Traditional Method: with Scaglia Bianca limestone giving the wine a certain minerality.
Monte Fasolo
The highest vineyards, where Scaglia Rossa limestone favours the growth of intense reds and elegant whites, full of energy.
Le Tavole
Deep clay and age-old memory: a soil for Carménère and other historic vines, with strong character and roots.
Santa Lucia
The clays of Santa Lucia are home to Moscato Giallo DOCG, with its intense aromas and rare delicacy.

Olive groves and varieties
Our olive groves are cultivated applying the principles of organic farming. The Frantoio, Leccino, Grignano, Leccio del Corno, Moraiolo and Pendolino varieties we grow are used for the production of organic extra virgin olive oil. Alongside our blended oils, we also make a monocultivar oil obtained from the autochthonous Colli Euganei Rasara variety, a product that features unique characteristics in terms of aroma, taste and structure. Each oil reflects the identity of our local area, perfectly balancing tradition and innovation.
Rasara
Ancient, rustic and hardy olive trees: an autochthonous variety and a history carrying the scent of the soil.
